About Me

Research assistant at Centre for the Study of Marine Systems (CESIMAR) Patagonian National Research Centre (CENPAT-CONICET). Node manager at ArOBIS, associated node of Ocean Biodiversity Information System. Teaching assistant at National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco. I've been working in CESIMAR since April 2015. My general research interest is develop solutions for the design of high quality Oceanographic information systems based on Semantic Web technologies.

    Research Projects

    PI-1424 - An infraestructure for primary data access with semantic in digital repositories

    The current needs for interoperability and vocabulary uniformity have led to rethinking the classical models of knowledge organization in digital repositories.In this context the semantic searches begin to be important. That is why this project raises the definition of an infrastructure to integrate through the use of semantic web technologies the information with other Digital Repositories, to accomplish discovery of knowledge that is implicit in the data and finally the creation of prototypes to demonstrate its exploitation.

    PGI-UNS (24/N038) Semantic Interoperability: applications for the Web and E-Government

    This project aims to investigate and develop methodologies and tools that favor the semantic interoperability of information and services on the Web, based on the latest advances in the area of knowledge representation languages, ontologies and conceptual modeling. In addition, its application in the area of electronic government will be promoted where the need for integration is more urgent.
